Galentines Day - Empowered Blooms Floral Workshop

If there is anything I really love, it is a good Galentines Day celebration. I am so blessed to have such amazing strong and brilliant ladies in my life and last weekend we were able to celebrate our friendships, make some flowers, eat yummy food and drinks. This year was special because we were able to bring Allison and Lucy from Empowered Blooms into my house to make our own beautiful flower arrangements.

Making the arrangements was a blast and was a fun way to experiment with flowers I don’t normally put into arrangements and learning a few tips! Allison was so much fun to work with and I highly recommend contacting Empowered Blooms if you’re local to the Iowa City and surrounding area.

Celebrating your girls is so important and a fun party is a good way to say “I appreciate you” which we just don’t hear quite enough these days. I snapped some pictures as we worked of these lovely ladies and our beautiful creations. We added to the celebration with goat cheese, honey, and blackberry crisps and pink lemonade mimosas.

Just a little shoutout to my friends old and new – I am so thankful to have you ladies in my life! You make life so sweet and I’m lucky to call you my friends!
