There is something about the increase of sunshine, warmer weather, and flowers beginning to bloom that brings the world back to life in the spring. Spring is the one season that brings me out of neutral land and I’m inspired by blues, pinks, yellows, greens, and florals in my wardrobe and home. Last year was a tough Easter as we were not able to celebrate Emmie’s first Easter with family. I didn’t buy much for Emmie at the time because she was only two months old but I did buy a personalized Easter basket that I am so excited to use this year. Since I’ve had a whole year to think about it, I’ve gathered up some Easter basket ideas for babies and toddlers that will hopefully give you some inspiration for your babe’s basket!
Fill your basket with fun, high quality items that will last longer than just during springtime
For babies, I think sweet bunny rattles and bunny lovies are the best way for a little one to cuddle up and play with their new bunny friend. Not only are they adorable for Easter, but they will grow with the child throughout the year. For sweet baby girls, I’ve included the personalized silk bows I have for Emmie that are so high quality and are just gorgeous. Pair with little bunny stuffies, and they make a perfect pair for their basket.
With warmer weather upon us, egg shaped chalk, daisy sunglasses, and a bubble machine are just perfect for time outside and creative play! For our littles, I’ve also included these gorgeous heirloom blocks that Emmie has in her playroom that we love. Not only are they beautiful but the have the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and animals on them for learning. The adorable wooden carrot toy is Emmie’s favorite and would be perfect for a child 10 months to 3 years. Of course, an Easter basket wouldn’t be complete without bunny themed books for the playroom or their bookshelf. We love Bunny Roo I Love You and read it often before bed!
Here is the midwest, we just pray it above 50 degrees on Easter so we can play outside, go for walks, and go to brunch. I’m not 100% sure what our plans are for this year’s celebration but I know it will be exciting since Emmie is at a more interactive age. What are your favorite family traditions and how do you celebrate Easter with your family?
